Event Report: Welcoming of Students and Inaugural Function at Goel Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital.

On 20th February 2023, Goel Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital welcomed its new batch of students with a Saraswati Poojan and Chandan Tilak ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Chairman Er. Mahesh Agarwal, Samarth Sir, Principal Sir, and all staff members. The ceremony was performed to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for the success of the students in their academic pursuits.

Following the pooja, the inaugural function began with the Dhanwantari Poojan and a prayer. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp. Chairman Er. Mahesh Agarwal then delivered the welcome address, in which he welcomed the new batch of students and their parents to the institution. He also highlighted the vision and mission of the institution and the opportunities it offers to the students.

Next, Principal Sir gave a brief institution profile, highlighting its history, achievements, and academic programs. He also emphasized the importance of academic excellence and the overall development of the students.

After a tea break, the interaction with parents and students began. All the staff members were present to interact with the parents and students and answer their queries. The interaction session helped the parents and students to get familiar with the institution’s staff and facilities.

Dr Sujay P. Randive, a faculty member, then gave a brief overview of the BAMS curriculum. He explained the course structure and the opportunities it offers for the students. This session helped the students understand the course’s expectations and requirements.

The next session was conducted by Dr Shailendra Shukla and Shri Arun Gakhar Ji, who explained the rules and regulations of the campus and the code of conduct that the students are expected to follow. They emphasized the importance of discipline and the need for the students to maintain decorum on campus.

As part of the Transitional Curriculum Activity [NCISM], a pretest was conducted for the students to assess their understanding of the subject. This activity was aimed at preparing the students for the upcoming academic year and helping them to adjust to the academic requirements of the institution.

The event concluded with a sumptuous lunch, during which the students and staff members had an opportunity to interact and get to know each other better. The event was a grand success and left a lasting impression on the students and their parents.
